After endless requests of what foundations I love and wear, here it is; my favourite all time foundations as requested!

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation

www.bobbibrown.co.uk

Coverage: Light- Medium

This award winning foundation is a water based- oil free formula that goes on smoothly and looks like what it says on the bottle, like SKIN! When applied onto the skin you can get up to a medium coverage whilst leaving the skin feeling lightweight and natural like you have nothing on! The foundation itself has an SPF15, giving you an everyday UV ray protection for your skin. It contains light reflective ingredients giving the skin a glow leaving it looking luminous, whilst its weightless and long wearing coverage still delivers hydration, minimizes the appearance of pores and conceals imperfections. This foundation does not oxidise on the skin, therefore you can rely on it to deliver a true colour stay all day without it darkening or looking dull through out the day.

This is a perfect foundation for all skin types. It is recommended more so for NORMAL TO OILY SKIN TYPES, so if you have dry skin I would advise to prep your skin well before use with a good hydrating moisturiser.

My favourite time to wear this foundation is when my skin doesn't need anything to heavy for example on warmer days or when I want my skin to breathe. I also love combining it with other foundations when I'm going out or when I have an event to give me a full coverage whilst leaving the skin looking flawless, healthy and glowy.

This is a foundation must have for everyone! It retails at £34 for 30ml and with 24 shade variations available, you can be sure to find the right colour match, just perfect for you!

Coverage: Medium

The Make Up For Ever 'Ultra HD' foundation is created for the the very latest high defination technologies, for film/camera/stage and the the TV industry. It is made with the most advanced formulas that looks invisible on high definition cameras and also to the naked eye.

This foundation feels like 'second skin' whilst delivering a medium coverage. It contains light diffusing ingredients that makes the skin look flawless and keeps it hydrated all day whilst leaving the skin feeling comfortable. This amazing foundation comes in 40 shades covering all skin shades that are both red or yellow based. The volume of the bottle is 30ml and retails at only £29!

I love this foundation for events as it doesn't create any flash back on photos. It is long lasting and stays looking fresh and flawless all day without any touch ups! It is a dewy foundation giving the skin an extra glow from within.

Mac Face and Body foundation

www.maccosmetics.co.uk

Coverage: Light-Medium

This light weight yet comfortable studio foundation delivers a satin finish with a sheer coverage.
It contains emollients insuring the skin is moisturised whilst the long wearing formula insures the foundation looks fresh through the day. It goes on smoothly, leaving the skin looking flawless. It is used highly  by professionals on shoots and is water resistant so you can be sure it to stay on even on the rainiest of days!

It can be combined with other foundations for a fuller coverage. I would advise using this product when you want a lightweight but good coverage foundation. It is water based so you can be sure that it will not break you out. When I want to combine this foundation with another I would advise to apply it on top of another foundation rather then underneath as it will then work best at its full potential.

It retails for £23.50 for a 50ml! You are definately getting your moneys worth at that price!

Coverage: Light-Medium

DO you want healthy, beautiful skin? Would you like a foundation that repairs your skin during the day whilst still giving you the foundation benefits you require? Well this is the foundation for you!

This serum foundation is formulated with Lychee, Bamboo Grass and Cordyceps Mushroom extracts, together creating a super powered formula that helps give skin the boost it needs to look fresher and younger. It glides so easily on the skin's surface, making the skin plump, rejuvenated, brighter and hydrated.

It is suitable for normal to dry skin types, especially formulated for anyone who wants the treatment benefits of a serum combined with a long lasting skin tone correct finish.

Goes beyond the surface, beautifying skin with a powerful combination of serum ingredients. Helps support skin's cellular energy and also offers key anti-aging benefits for a smoother, firmer, more lifted look. Ultrafine pigments cover imperfections without settling into fine lines. Plus, SPF 35-40 helps prevent future damage. (www.bobbibrown.co.uk)

It comes in 21 amazing skin tone correct shades so there is a shade for everyone. Retailing at £42 for a 30ml is in my opinion an amazing value for money (as the Bobbi Brown Intensive serum is £46 on its own!).

I love this product as an everyday foundation as I don't have to worry about applying a serum on during my skin prep routine before applying my foundation on and I am also able to skip my spf application routine as this foundation already contains such a high spf. I wore it alot throughout the hot summer months last year and oh my is this a total God send or what?! It is long lasting and kept my dry skin looking so hydrated and fresh after a 12 hour wear! This is definatley one of my top 3 favourite foundations and would highly recommend it for anyone above the age of 20 and especially for more mature or aged skin.

Bobbi brown Moisture Rich Foundation

www.bobbibrown.co.uk

Coverage: Light-Full

This beautiful foundation is my go to everyday foundation. It is a moisturising formula that contains oils to provide the ultimate hydration that the skin may need whilst delivering a glowy, soft and beautiful finish to the skin. It provides an SPF15 sun protection, protecting your skin from everyday UV sun rays.

It is made for normal to dry skin types, and the formula is build able allowing you to get unto a full coverage when desired.

To insure maximum hydration through out the day, it is formulated with ingredients that binds the moisture to the skin. Sodium hyaluronate with jojoba, wheat germ and plant oils all hydrate and soften skin. Antioxidants vitamin C and E help protect against damaging free radicals while lavender oil calms and soothes.

I get asked all the time which foundation I use and this is it guys! I love this foundation for my dry skin as it's lightweight yet so moisturising and dewy.I am a sucker for dewy foundations, but if you prefer a more matte finish just apply a good translucent powder on top. It's a hypoallergenic formula means that it won't break the skin out either, a total plus for sensitive or acne prone skin sufferers like myself.

It retails at £34 for a 30ml and is available in 14 shades. The only downside of this product is that there isn't any shades available for the darker, warmer skin tones. Be sure to drop by to your nearest Bobbi Brown counter and get a colour match first to find out.

DiorSkin Star Foundation

'The brightening foundation, creator of spectacular glow"  (www.dior.com)

Diors 1st brightening foundation is a weightless, long wearing formula that instantly brightens the skin whilst giving it a natural healthy glow as well as well as a bare skin effect.

When applied to the skin, the skin instantly looks more lumunious and visibly even. It contains silica beads that helps to capture and diffuse light perfectly without looking oily.

Colour-filter pigments neutralise colour imbalances on the skin, whilst helping repair skin with every use day to day, helping reduce dark areas on the skin, pigmentation, spots and redness. This hypoallergenic formula can keep your mind at rest from breakouts and clogging your pores.

I love how I can build up this formula and still looks so radiant and natural. It gives a dewy finish with the most beautiful satin sheer texture, giving you a flawless foundation finish what ever your skin type. It has an SPF30 broad spectrum Uv protection so I wouldn't really advise using it if your taking photos with a flash.

Retailing at £33 for a 30ml bottle. It comes in 16 shades from the lightest of skin shades to the darkest.

I wear this foundation when I want to go for a more of a glam long lasting look for events. It can be combined with other foundations but I found that it works best on it's own. Definitely my favourite foundation from the DiorSkin range.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua

www.chanel.com

Coverage: Light-Medium

This beautiful foundations especially formulated to lift and plump tired looking skin. It's light weight, hypoallergenic formula leaves the skin feeling and looking fresh and skin like. Carefully formulated with "High Definition Light" pigments for a radiant, luminous and even complexion. Lotus water and a brown algae to give the skin a toning and energising effect, whilst  hyaluronic acid derivative to maintain the skin's moistur levels through out the day.
It contains a UVB protection of  SPF 15 and is suitable for all skin types!

I love wearing this foundation daily when I feel my skin needs a light to medium coverage. It's a pretty and soft foundation that looks delicate on the skin whilst delivering a dewy finish to the skin.

It retails at £34 for a 30ml bottle. The bottle is travel friendly as it's light weight and made out of plastic, so you don't have to worry about it smashing in your makeup bag. The only downside for me is that it only comes in 7 shades, meaning that there isn't much variety for everyone or that you may have to mix two shades to get your perfect colour.
